Kigali Genocide Memorial. It stands as a monument of remembrance to all those who perished of about one million people. Its one of the popular visitor attraction built by the UK-based Aegis Trust in partnership with the Kigali City Council. You will be told the stories about how people suffered and survived.  You will notice photographs of the faces of many of the victims that have been put up by remaining family members.

 

Camp Kigali Memorial; When the violence began, Presidential Guard soldiers invaded the home, disarmed the Belgians and transported them to Camp Kigali where they were killed. The home was for a Prime Minister and they were Presidential Guard soldiers who had attacked. Its also called the Blue Beret Museum.

 

Kandt House Museum; Kandt was a soldier, doctor and dedicated his life to researching the natural environment of Rwanda.  And this is why is called Museum of Natural History of Rwanda on Nyarugenge Hill in Kigali.

 

Caplaki Craft Village; Its a create craft village located just outside Kigali. It has different stalls that display a lot of handicraft products that may include spears, pots and baskets. You will be able to buy any of your choice and at a friendly price.

 

Kigali Convention Centre; Its the first and largest Convention Centre in Rwanda. Its unique designs attracts many tourists all over the world. It potrays a clear reference of Rwanda Culture. Different concerts and festivals take place here.
