Cultural Show Tour.
The most treasure activity in Rwanda is traditional drumming and dancing. However much you might not have the natural rhythm at the end of the day you would have learnt by the help of the experts. This cultural show experience begins with a mini-performance from the joyful few local dancers both males and females. This takes a short while, as you also learn the basic steps. The Intore dance consists of ballet-like movement and hands imitating the movement of cow’s horns. Their dancing style tells a lot about their history and the happy people of Rwanda.
Next, it’s your turn to put on a traditional costume becoming the Rwandanese of the day. To try out this, you have to give it time and the interest. It wont only be learning the basic steps but also having fun with theses Rwandanese local dancers. It will also consist of sharing the different history of your country and theirs. After some practice time, the expert dance instructors will encourage you to try out on your very own. After dancing and singing part of it, the local drummers will teach you some traditional beats.
The best experience of Rwanda is to not miss the ‘Cultural Show Tour’!!
This cultural show tour is not only the art of expressing the dances, songs and drumming. It includes the dressing code of the Rwandan people. Rwandan women don’t show too much flesh. They never wear shorts, skirts and dresses that would not reach their knees.
They wear mostly Mushanana. It consists of a wrapped skirt bunched at the hips and a sash draped over one shoulder, typically worn over a tank top or bustier. The fabric used for the mushanana may be any color and is often gauzy and lightweight to create a flowing effect. Well as for men, usually wear dress pants and a dress shirt while a tie is optional but often worn.
