2 days Uganda Gorilla trekking Safari

Day 1; Arrival, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

One of our team members will be happy to receive you at Entebbe International Airport. He will safely drive you to any nearby hotel or restaurant of your choice in Entebbe and later set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey through the pearl of Africa is overwhelming with its natural creatures. Feel at home and associate with our driver, his very friendly and fluent in English, French, and Swahili. You have a stopover at Kabale town (Katuna) or Kisoro (Chanika) before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for overnight.

Day 2; Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

This life-time experience adventure starts in the morning after a heavy breakfast at your hotel or lodge. Seat and relax comfortably in a 4X4 vehicle of African Safari Journeys, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by a park ranger about gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park. For the first time hikers, it’s better you have some physical exercises before the actual day of trekking. The tour involves hiking up and down, physical fitness is required. Trekking takes about 5-8 hours depending on the gorilla family you trekking and their habitat location.  To hire porters is an option, especially for those with heavy backpack and travelers in need of a push or pull in some sections of the park that might be steep.
